After a little more than two years of development, Ifremer, Centrale Nantes and the partners of the RESOURCECODE project (Ocean energy Era-Net Cofund project) are launching the "RESOURCECODE Marine Data Toolbox". This toolbox, more specifically dedicated to Marine Renewable Energies, provides developers with a sea state hindcast database and a set of standard functions for wave resource assessment and marine operations management. The sea-state hindcast covers a period of 27 years (1994 - 2020) and provides data on a large area covering the European continental shelf, from the Faroe Islands to the Strait of Gibraltar. The statistical tools implemented allow developers to carry out the studies necessary to reduce the uncertainties associated with the assessment of environmental forcing conditions and thus reduce the risk associated with an investment in innovative technological concepts intended to be deployed at sea.
On this occasion, a webinar presenting the "RESOURCECODE Marine Data Toolbox" and the associated sea state replay is organized on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 11:00 to 12:30 (CET) [10AM - 11.30AM GMT].
